Specialist drilling waste management company, TWMA, has been shortlisted for the Going Global Award at the 2024 Northern Star Business Awards.

The Going Global Award shines a spotlight on businesses that have excelled in international trade and demonstrated a clear strategy to entering new markets. TWMA has been recognised for its significant international growth following a series of contract wins across the Middle East, Africa, Norway and the USA.

These contract wins come as more operators seek efficient, low carbon drilling waste management solutions for their drilling operations. By eliminating the requirement to transport drill cuttings onshore for processing, TWMA’s market leading RotoMill® offshore processing solution has been proven to reduce the carbon footprint of drilling operations by up to 50%.

Gareth Innes, chief engineering and commercial officer at TWMA, said: "Our nomination for the Going Global Award is a testament to TWMA's 20-year legacy of delivering efficient, safe and environmentally conscious drilling waste solutions to our global customer base.

“The international contract wins we have secured this year underline our commitment to enhancing our customers' operations and reinforce our dedication to innovation. We are proud to be recognised for our efforts and the positive impact our solutions are bringing to drilling operations around the world.”

The Northern Star Business Awards, organised by the Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce, celebrate the achievements of the Northeast's best and brightest companies. Winners will be announced at the esteemed awards ceremony in April 2024.
