Drilling waste specialist, TWMA, has reached the milestone of nine years Lost Time Incident (LTI) free operations in Egypt across its sites in Cairo and Alexandria.

Abdelrahman Amin, General Manager for TWMA’s Egypt business said: “It is a great pleasure to announce the significant achievement of nine years LTI-free operations in Egypt. Our number one priority has always been the safety of our people, which is the cornerstone of our continued success.

“We look forward to maintaining and building on our fantastic safety record in the region through our collaborative team commitment and focus on safety”.

In 2018, TWMA launched its Stay Safe Programme designed to deliver incident free operations. Commenting on the achievement, Steven Law, TWMA Group HSEQ Director said: “Achieving LTI-free operations at any time is worthy of recognition, but to do that over a sustained period of time is testament to the commitment of the team and their relentless pursuit of excellence.

“I’d like to take the opportunity to congratulate Abdelrahman and the whole team for reaching this milestone and for their commitment to living our Stay Safe Programme.”
