TWMA, the specialist drilling waste management company, has achieved 4.5 million work hours lost time incident (LTI) free across its Middle East operations.
The milestone, which has been achieved over 10 years, is a result of the company’s focus on identifying and controlling hazards, reducing exposure to health and safety risks, and supporting the general health and well-being of its team members.
TWMA’s Middle East team has built its strong safety culture by focusing on its integrated HSEQ policy, evaluating the safety of its systems at work, and embedding the TWMA Stay Safe programme.
The Stay Safe Programme is an initiative dedicated to guiding employees towards incident-free operations. It empowers employees to intervene whenever they see an unsafe act and has significantly contributed to the company’s strong safety culture.
Simon Tyldsley, UAE Country Director at TWMA said: “We are incredibly proud to have achieved this significant milestone which is testament to our team who prioritise safety every day. It is a direct reflection of the team’s commitment to safe working practices and continually delivering world class solutions to our customers in the safest possible way.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their commitment to safety excellence and maintaining the company’s objective of incident free operations.”
